About the build
The Elopement Collective is Tasmania’s original elopement company, and their website needed to inspire couples while making it simple to understand what an elopement package includes. This was a historical Squarespace project, delivered before Josh’s current static-site service. It is shown as an honest record of the work and platform chosen at the time, not as an example of today’s stack.
The design leans into Tasmania’s landscapes and the intimacy of eloping, giving couples a feel for the experience before they even make contact. The Elopement Collective is one of several wedding industry websites I’ve built with genuine insider knowledge from 17 years in the business. New builds now use a fast static approach, and businesses on older platforms can use the rescue and migration service.
