Married by Josh is my own website for my own wedding celebrant business. I am a full-time professional marriage celebrant, based with my family in Tasmania’s Huon Valley and travelling across Australia and worldwide for weddings. I have been doing this since 2009, bringing the communication skills of a former radio host and professional speaker together with clear legal guidance, professional audio, and calm, natural ceremony delivery.

Celebrancy is a search-heavy market. Advertising does not create the need for a celebrant: couples either need one for their wedding or they do not. When they do, they actively search — through Google and other traditional search engines, or increasingly through AI search and answer platforms. When the right couple is looking for a professional celebrant like me, I want them to find me.

That goal shapes the website. Astro 7 content collections manage a large body of structured, useful content across wedding locations, vendor recommendations, legal guidance, blog posts, and service pages. Schema markup, sitemaps, llms.txt, and machine-readable entity information help search and answer engines understand who I am, where I am based, where I travel, and what I offer. Interactive Astro islands add useful dynamic experiences without giving up the speed and security advantages of a largely static site.
